It's finally the weekend, but do you know what else it is?
SPRING BREAKKKKK!
Joyous mirth and celebration all around. YOU GO GRYFFINDOR
But seriously -- a whole week of free time now presents itself
to me in a gloriously bundled metaphorical box.

What excitement! What joy!
What...am I going to do?!
ERIN'S SPRING BREAK LIST OF GLORY: 2016 EDITION*
*DISCLAIMER: I find joy in the simplest of things, so this list will not thrill most humans with a pulse.
Make a Spring Break 2016 mix. I plan to make a mix CD of wonderful tunes to rock out to all week. If I listen to this mix at least 6 times a day, then it will no doubt become cemented in my mind as the soundtrack to my Spring Break. [NOTE: I also bought a sunny, beach-vibes vinyl to listen to in my room for the duration of the week. You can find a post about that here.]
Go to the beach. I've been avoiding the beach for so long, but I'm eager for it now. I can't wait to head to the shore and read a book, splash in the waves. I'm craving the feeling of the sun on my shoulders, the salty breeze in my hair. I'm done with being vampire pale, folks.
See a movie in theaters. And by a movie, I mean Allegiant. With my mom. #dystopianjunkies
Clean my room. Recently, I strung up some lights in here, and my dad hung some of my records over my bed (something I've been meaning to do since literally 2007), but I want to clean my room even more. There's something about having a personalized space to relax that works wonders for the soul.

Creativity. Whether I write my novel, hone my electric guitar skills {they need it}, or take photos, I know it's going to be a really creative break!
Books. Currently reading Jackaby by William Ritter (a win for Sherlock fans), but I'm going to finish it soon. I have a pile of books to read this break eagerly waiting to take its place. Can't wait to dig into some new stories!
Etc. Job searching, early morning running, a trip to the writing cabin & the occasional bit of homework will round out the rest of my break. That, and spending time with the Lord. :)
"But now, this is what the Lord says -- He who created you, O Jacob, He who formed you, O Israel: 'Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are Mine.'"
